The Cisco ESR6300 Embedded Series Router enables third-party systems integrators to build custom Gigabit Ethernet routing solutions. It is optimized for size, weight, and power to operate fully in extreme, harsh environments. With Cisco IOS XE, it provides highly secure data, voice, and video communications to stationary and mobile network nodes. The ESR-6300 also offers Cisco Radio Aware Routing (RAR) to improve network reliability.

RAR addresses several challenges involved in merging IP routing and radio communications in mobile networks. This technology has applications in the defense industry and in state and local government for search and rescue, law enforcement, and disaster assessment.

The ESR6300 provides 2 WAN ports of Gigabit Ethernet that give you a choice of media type and 4 LAN ports of Gigabit Ethernet with PoE/PoE+-ready options.

At 3 inches by 3.75 inches, the ESR6300 is smaller than its predecessors, making it easier to integrate in compact solutions. It is hardened for extreme temperatures, shock, and vibration to achieve a high standard of reliability.
